Students from School of Business, MUST won the third prize in “The Seventh Social Science Award of University Marketing Contest”

Supported by National Academy of Economic Strategy, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), and Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science and Technology, hosted by China Marketing Association and China Association for Promotion of Private Sci-Tech Enterprises, “The Seventh Social Science Award Marketing Contest of University” was held recently, in which students from School of Business, Macau University of Science and Technology – Huang Zi Qi, Qiu Si Lin and Chen Yan Ying, won the third prize, and the university was awarded “The Best Organizer”.

All the projects in the contest were set up based on the companies’ real situations. To meet their demand, the competitors had to prepare a marketing plan and carry it out. More than 1,438 teams competed in this 8-month contest and the top 100 entered the final. After an intense competition, School of Business from MUST stood out and won two important awards.

Assistant Prof. Bu Hui Mei was the mentor of the MUST team during the contest in Beijing, while Associate Prof. Shi Gui Cheng, Director of Program of Business Administration, trained the students before the competition.
