M.U.S.T. Business students win first and second prizes at National Entrepreneurship Contest

Two teams from Macau University of Science and Technology won the First Prize and Second Prize at the 8th China National College Student “Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship” Challenge, organized by the Ministry of Education and co-organized by Taiyuan University of Technology. The competition attracted over 40,000 teams from 1,200 universities nationwide to participate. After three-month competition, the national final was held at Taiyuan from 27 to 29 July 2018.

The teams are comprised of students from the BBA program, School of Business at M.U.S.T.. First prize winner, “M.U.S.T.MIER”, team members are Jiang Qi’er, Pan Yingqi, Zhou Bin and Jin Peng. Second prize winner, “Pioneer”, team members are Lang Yuqing, Wong Sao In, Mou Yidi and Huang Xuanyu. Both teams are supervised by Dr. Tang Huajun and Dr. Yue Lin at School of Business.

Professor Lin Zhijun, Vice President of M.U.S.T. and Dean of School of Business, expressed that the University pays great attention to the entrepreneurship training for students and provided courses on innovation to encourage students to participate in entrepreneurships. The University congratulates the winning students and teachers for their hard work and excellent achievements.

The panel of judges at the final highly appraised the two teams’ projects, presentation and performances, and suggested their projects are highly applicable in Macau.
