Mr. Cilan Cobanoglu, the President of the Association of North America Higher Education International (ANAHEI) visited Macau University of Science and Technology on December 3rd and met with Dr. Pang Chuang, Vice-Presidentand Dean of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM), Ms. Chu Oi Mei, Vice Dean of FHTM and Dr. Zhang Yang, program director.
Vice-President Pang introduced the development of M.U.S.T. and pointed out that the University has always been striving towards the internationalization of teaching and research and cultivation of professional talents with global perspectives. President Cobanoglu introduced the ANAHEI and the cooperation projects with universities and institutions around the globe. Both sides exchanged in-depth views about collaboration and reached consensus on the great cooperation potential in terms of education and academic conferences, and short-term exchange programs for both teachers and students.
After the meeting, Vice-President Pang and President Cobanoglu signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation. M.U.S.T. will establish long-term collaborative relations with ANAHEI and many of its partner universities and institutions and therefore further the development of its teaching and academic research.
