The Tourism Management Department of East China Normal University Visited and Signed MOU with FHTM

Professor Yang Yong, Deputy Dean of the Tourism Management Department, East China Normal University, visited the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of M.U.S.T. on July 24th, 2019, and was warmly welcomed by FHTM Dean Prof. Ben K Goh, Vice Dean Ms. Amy Chu, and Program Directors Feng Yan and Zhang Yang. Both sides signed the MOU and saw great cooperative potential in launching short-term student exchange programs and joint initiatives in research and teaching.

At the reception, Professor Ben K Goh introduced the over-a-decade development of FHTM along with the history of M.U.S.T., pointing out that it has been FHTM’s educational direction to nurture more professional talents with broad horizon through cooperation with famous academic institutions in mainland China in both teaching and research. Professor Yang also introduced to the hosts the curriculum design, professional studies and research achievements of the Tourism Management Department of East China Normal University. He emphasized the significance of joint efforts in following the national strategy of the Great Bay Construction and in promoting exchanges between educational institutions in Yangtze River Delta and Great Bay Area, by virtue of signing the MOU.
