M.U.S.T. donated MOP 100, 000 to Walk for Millions Charity Fund
In the charitable spirit of the “ Charity Walk for Millions 2019” campaign, teachers, students, staff, alumni and University Hospital staff of Macau University of Science and Technology raised a donation of MOP 100, 000 for the charity event. A simple but solemn donation ceremony was held at the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News on December 3, 2019. Vice President Kwong Ying Wa of M.U.S.T., Head of Student Affairs Office Ms. Wong Ka Weng, Supervisor Hao Chi Wan from Student Affairs Office, and Student Lin Yun Yi, Deputy Head of the Social Services Team attended the ceremony.
As an annual charity event that was vastly participated by the Public, the Walk for Millions campaign has always been supported enthusiastically by Macau University of Science and Technology. Inside the university campus, a number of donation collection boxes and charity sale booths were set up to help fund raising for the Walk for Millions fund. Later, the University will continue to mobilize the teachers and students to take part in the Walk in person acting on and carrying on the charitable spirit of the MUSTers.
