On November 30, 2020, the delegation of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) visited Macau University of Science and Technology and attended its 20th Anniversary Ceremony. In the presence of Vice President of CASC Yang Baohua and Chancellor of M.U.S.T. Liu Chak Wan, Zhang Hongtai, President of China Academy of Space Technology (CAST), and Liu Liang, President of M.U.S.T., signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the morning of November 30 in N101 conference hall. The two sides reached a framework agreement on carrying out strategic cooperation in scientific research, personnel training, achievement transformation, among others.

Under the framework of this strategic cooperation agreement, Jiang Jun, CEO of DFH Satellite Co., Ltd. of CAST, and Zhang Keke, Director of State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences of M.U.S.T., signed a cooperation agreement on the joint development of Macao science popularization Micro-nano satellite and the joint construction of Industry-Academia-Research cooperation platforms. Meanwhile, to further strengthen cooperation, Wang Runfu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Lanzhou Institute of Space Technology and Physics of CAST, and Zhang Keke, Director of State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences of M.U.S.T., signed a cooperation agreement on cooperative space science projects, new technology research, and product development to achieve rapid commercialization of scientific and research findings.
