From September 23 to 24, 2022, postgraduate students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Macao University of Science and Technology, led by Professor Timothy Lee and Associate Professor Zhang Yang, went to the Venetian Macao Cotai Convention and Exhibition Center to participate in the 10th Macao International Tourism (Industry) Expo.

This year's Expo created 7 highlights, continued to add new elements, and deepened the integration of "tourism +" by including the "Cloud Series" activities, the "Bin Fun Portuguese" exhibition hall, the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, the "Macao Destination Wedding" exhibition hall, and the Palace Museum area. In addition to keeping the "Macao Street" area, the Macao Tourism Industry Exhibition Area also set up the "Cotai Strip" area for the first time. To promote Macao's cultural and creative products the Expo set up the “City of Gastronomy” area to present a cooking demonstration.
Students and Teachers Attended the 10th Macao International Tourism (Industry) Expo
In this activity, students actively communicated with teachers and alumni. Not only did they learn about the operation of Macao tourism authorities, but also formulated new ideas for the development of the tourism industry. The activities deepened students' understanding of relevant professional knowledge, enhanced their professional interests, and stimulated their enthusiasm for learning. The event also enabled the students to have clearer planning and understanding of the future development of the tourism industry.
