With the purpose of deepening strategic cooperation, cultivating cultural and tourism talent teams, and developing the cultural tourism industry, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of M.U.S.T. and the Liangxi District (located in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province) held a Cooperation Symposium on October 30th and 31st, 2022. Led by Associate Professor Zhang Yang, Program Director of FHTM, a group of three teachers and three students was invited to visit Liangxi and attend the symposium.

At the symposium, Associate Professor Zhang Yang introduced FHTM and put forward suggestions for the development of the cultural and tourism industry in Liangxi. Professor Zhang expressed hopes of more exchange and cooperation, between the faculty and Liangxi, related to the cultural tourism industry. The representative of Liangxi made a brief introduction to the district and then conducted in-depth discussions on further developing a joint platform, strengthening policy research, training talents, and others.
Cooperation Symposium
FHTM and Liangxi will actively promote related cooperation projects such as teaching and research projects, resource sharing, teachers and students exchange programs, and student internships programs, and jointly write a new chapter of cooperation between the two sides.
