The Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter held its Annual General Meeting on June 6, 2023, at the Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.). The University was elected Chairman of the General Assembly in the Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter.;
Mr. Ricky Hoi, Deputy Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, provided an update on the tourism situation in Macao. Professor Ben. K Goh, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management of M.U.S.T., reported on the activities of the Pacific Asia Travel Association headquarter. The representative of Venetian Macau Ltd. reported on the chapter's financial status, while Pacific Asia Travel Association Macao Student Chapter Ms. Ariel provided an update on student activities.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter members who attended the meeting included representatives from Air Macau Company Ltd., Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, City University of Macau, Cotai Travel, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Holiday Inn EXPRESS Macau City Centre, Hotel Royal Macau, Macao Institute for Tourism Studies, Macao Polytechnic University, Macau International Airport Company Ltd. (CAM), MGM Macau, MM Marketing Communications Consulting Ltd., Shun Tak - China Travel Macau Ferries Limited, Shun Tak – China Travel Ship Management (Macau) Ltd., and the University of Macau.
The Annual General Meeting provided an opportunity for the members to exchange information and ideas, discuss the current state of the local tourism industry, and plan future activities to promote tourism in the region, which could help cultivate a new generation of talents with multiple skills for Macao and other areas, contributing to Macao’s positioning as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.
The new committee members of the Pacific Asia Travel Association Macau Chapter are as follows: the Macau University of Science and Technology representing as the Chairman of the General Assembly; Macau Government Tourism Office – Vice-Chairman of the General Assembly and Shun Tak China Travel Ship Management (Macau) Ltd. - Secretary of the General Assembly. Hotel Royal Macau - Chairman of the Executive Committee; Macau International Airport Co. Ltd. – Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee; Macau Institute for Tourism Studies - Secretary of the Executive Committee; Cotai Travel - Treasurer and Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, City University of Macau, and MGM Macau – members. Finally, the Venetian Macau Ltd. - Chairman of the Supervisory Board; Air Macau Company Ltd. – Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Vacations International Travel Service (Macau) Ltd. - Secretary of the Supervisory Board.
