"Ambassadorial Lecture Series I" Session III Republic of Indonesia Ambassador to China and Mongolia, Mr. Yi Mu Long, presented the “Relationship of China and Indonesia and its Impact on the Regions"

  Session Three of the “Ambassadorial Lecture Series I” sponsored by the Macau Foundation, was held at the Macau University of Science and Technology Room N211 on November 8th, 2013.

  Mr. Yi Mu Long, Indonesia’s Ambassador to the Republic of China and Mongolia, was the guest speaker. Since 1983, Ambassador Yi Mu Long served as the First Secretary for the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Ambassador to Australia and Vanuatu. In February 2006, he was the Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Republic of Indonesia). On January 2010, he began to serve as the Indonesian Ambassador to the Republic of China and Mongolia. At the same time, Ambassador Yi was also the Visiting Professor of Economy and Law at the Xiaman University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Central South University, as well as the National University of Mongolia.

  During the lecture, Ambassador Yi Mu Long introduced the students to the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Indonesia; he believed that the bilateral relations have shown good momentum all-around at a multi- and high level, conducive to the stability and prosperity of the two countries, and bringing well-being to the people of the two countries.

  Before the end of the lecture, students were actively asking questions. Ambassador Yi Mu Long, using his unique insights, expressed his prospect of the relationship between China and Indonesia. He hoped that the students will carry on the happiness and prosperity created by their predecessors from generation to generation.
