On March 12, 2014, a delegation of 25 from Suratthani Rajabhat University,Thailand, led by President Prayote Kupgarnjanagool, paid an official visit to MUST to seek cooperation opportunities. The delegation was warmly received by Standing Vice President of MUST, Professor Shu Guang Zhang, Associate Vice President, Prof. Chuan Pang, Associate Vice President, Prof. Jianrong Sun, Dean of FHTM, Prof. Michael John Hitchcock and other FHTM faculty members. Both sides exchanged ideas on staff and student exchange,collaborative research projects. And reached a preliminary consensus on sending SRU’s teaching staff to MUST for doctor degrees and cooperation on degree programs on tourism and hospitality, and nursing.
MOU was signed by dean of The International School of Tourism of SRU and dean of Faculty of Hospitality of Tourism Management of MUST, witnessed by delegates from both sides. The visitors were also shown around the training restaurant the Seasons and the experiential farm, for an exhibition of the concept of farm to table management and experiential learning.
