Delegation from Taiwan National Chung Cheng University Paid a Visit to MUST

On October 22nd, 2014, Professor Jyh-Yang Wu, President of Taiwan National Chung Cheng University (hereafter CCU), Professor Amy Huey-Ling SHEE, Director of the Center of International Affairs and Exchange of CCU, Professor Jane S. Tsay, Dean of College of Humanities of CCU, and Professor Ching-Tien Tsai, Dean of College of Education of CCU visited MUST. They were warmly received by Chair Prof Liu Liang, President of MUST, Professor Sun Jian Rong, Associate Vice President, and Professor Zhang Zhi Qing, Executive Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts.

At the meeting, President Liu Liang and President Jyh-Yang Wu respectively gave an introduction to the status quo and future development goals of the two universities, focusing mainly on the two universities’ characteristics and strengths. Both parties acknowledge that despite their young history, the two universities have demonstrated vigor and fast development and have taken the opportunity to develop new programs and disciplines. Afterwards, the two parties signed agreements on academic exchange and student exchange.

The delegation then paid a visit to the Excellent Student Works Exhibition of the Faculty of Humanities and Arts and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines; the guests thought highly of the creativeness of the student works, the research facilitates and quality of the State Key Lab, expressed wishes for the two parties to engage in cooperation at a broader range.
