Job Description

工作描述

• The Commis chef is responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food as per his given instructions according to the established standards.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in all kitchen area
• Ensure the food items and kitchen equipment are all in good manner
• Prepare food for guests and associates efficiently and economically
• Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the kitchen
• Work in all areas of food preparation as and when directed
• Participates in ongoing training of subordinates.
• Attends all scheduled training at his, her level.
• Initiates action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervise/managers of potential danger.

Requirements

應聘要求

Education:
- High school graduated with Culinary certificate
- Diploma in Culinary is an added advantage
Experience:
- 1 year at a 5-star hotel or at a 4-star hotel or reputable restaurant a plus
Knowledge & Skills:
- Product knowledge of pastry
Others:
- Able to walk and stand continuous for extended amount of time
- Team player
