Guest Speaker: Professor Zhao Jinlin
Prof. Zhao Jinlin serves as the director of the Graduate School of Hotel and Tourism Management School of Florida International University USA. Professor Zhao is also a guest professor at Beijing International Studies University, Tianjin University of Commerce, Jinan University, School of Hotel and Tourism Management of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, City University of Macau, Hainan University, and Hainan Normal University. In addition, he also serves as a researcher of the International Hotel Association (now International Hotel & Restaurant Association) and the Secretary-General of the World Hotel Alliance in the United States. Professor Zhao also participated in the Food and Beverage management of the 1996 Atlanta and 2004 Athens Olympics. In 2008, he worked for the Beijing Olympics for 8 months as a F & B project training manager, responsible for recruiting and training of 7,000 employees. Professor Zhao has been engaged in research in hotel, hospitality and tourism for over 32 years. Professor Zhao has in-depth analysis and research on the globalization of the hotel industry, the market environment of multinational hotels and F & B groups, and the competitive strategy. His students spread every corner of the world, and he is still working hard to contribute to the cultivation of global tourism talents.
