In the afternoon of June 9, 2018, FHTM hosted its graduation celebration in D Hall for the 2018 graduates. More than one hundred students, parents and faculty members came and sent the blessings for the graduating students. Vice President and Dean of FHTM Professor Pang Chuan delivered a sincere farewell for the students and Vice Dean Amy Chu expressed her heartfelt encouragement and blessings. The two teacher representatives, Dr. Jasmine Chen Yu Jie and Dr. Eddy Cheng Man Tat, were on the stage to give talks about future plans, with sincere blessings and sense of humor. They encouraged our graduating students to get prepared for the prosperous future. The final speech was delivered by graduate student representative Yi Hai Fang.
After the D Hall celebration, students, parents and teachers were invited to A Hall for a reception. Snacks and drinks were prepared by the FHTM food and beverage management students while students from the international tourism management and hotel management programs performed their hospitality service. This reception provided an experiential learning opportunity for the FHTM students to practice what they learned from class who have benefited greatly. Apart from this, the celebration also brought nice memories to our graduates, teachers and parents.
