Zixiao Lin, doctoral student of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, and his supervisor, assistant professor Yang Zhang, were invited to present their research paper in the 2018 International Conference on Hospitality, Leisure, Sports, and Tourism -- Summer Session held at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. Lin's paper took the residents of Sanya city as the research object and discussed their attitudes towards seasonal tourism immigrants and their views on the development of tourism migration. The conference committee awarded Lin’s paper as Distinguished Paper Award.
This conference was held for three days from 30th July to 1st August 2018, and there were many experts and scholars coming from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, mainland China, the United States, Japan and other different countries and regions. On the morning of August 1, Lin successfully completed the oral presentation of his paper and communicated with scholars with confidence. His excellent performance demonstrated the good quality of our doctoral students in FHTM.
