The FHTM hosted a lecture on October 10, 2018. Mr. John Daly, the Director of quality assurance of SEG (Swiss Education Group) and the former Academic Dean of the HIM (Hotel Institute Montreux), was invited to give a talk entitled “The New Challenges of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry” for the students. Mr. Daly had introduced some new technologies that brought the dramatic changes to the hospitality and tourism Industry, such as the robotbutler, artificial intelligence, neurotechnology, gourmet genomics and 3D printing in the kitchen. Then, Jacqueline from SEG introduced the educational institutes of hotel management in Switzerland and shared the life of the students who were graduated from FHTM and currently studying in Switzerland.
