In order to enable students to have a further understanding of the operation of hotels, related services and the work functions of various departments, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology organized students to visit the WYNN Palace Hotel in Macau on October 18, 2018. Thanks to the detailed explanation from the hotel, students had a clearer idea about their future employment and career planning. In the meanwhile, this visit not only broadened their horizon but also allowed them to gain a new understanding of WYNN palace from the inside out.
The Human Resources & Talent Management Department of WYNN Palace gave full support to this visit by arranging the whole visit carefully for our students. The person-in-charge informed the students about the development of the hotel together with his personal experiences. Then the MUST graduates who are working at WYNN palace shared some valuable working experiences, and advised the visiting students on their career planning and resume preparation, which enabled them to have a clearer picture of their future. After the meeting, the hotel staff members guided students to tour the guest rooms while giving them necessary details. The hotel prepared gifts and snacks for the students who were moved by its warm hospitality. This visit allowed FHTM students to know better about hotel industry by observing with their own eyes the hotel operation and work environment. FHTM is grateful to WYNN Palace for providing such a valuable chance for the students. The journey to the hotels is to be continued.
