As a way to give back to the Community as well as enhance social responsibility, Student Union of FHTM/MUST and the Macau Youth Arts Volunteer Work Association (MYAA) organized the "We are with You-Visiting the Elders” charity event.
In the morning of March 10, 2019, FHTM students arrived at the office of the Macau Youth Arts Volunteer Work Association, and made soup for the elders. Afterwards, the groups of volunteers led by Lecterure Mr. Kwok Wing Cheong, Lecterur Mr. Chen Kuan Ting, Assistant Professor Dr. Hsu Fu Chieh, spent some times talking to the elders, and listen to the elders about their stories.
During the visit, each elder received fruits and freshly- made soups. Students also interacted with the elders patiently. Everyone had a great time.
FHTM would like to thank MYAA for such a valuable opportunity. Student had a better understanding of the elders living in Macao. FHTM hoped that this event would encourage more students to do good deeds, be kind, care for the weak and give elders some spiritual comfort.
