The 11th Guangzhou / Hong Kong / Macao / Chengdu Youth Skills Competition –Macao SAR Regional Competition (Pâtisserie and Confectionery) was held on May 30 2020 at Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT). BFBM year 3 student of FHTM, Im Ho Ian, led by Coach Ms. Mary Judalee Pestano Ote, competed with 5 IFT students. After 5 hours’ intense competition, Im Ho Ian was victorious and won first place for her pastry masterpiece “Bliss”.

To Student Im, this is a valuable opportunity to combine knowledge and practice and to demonstrate her culinary skills. The faculty is truly proud of her, sincerely congratulating her on what she has achieved and hopeful about what she will achieve in the future.
The competition aims to provide a platform for young talents to demonstrate their skills and exchange technical knowhow within the regional culinary community, Im Ho Ian will represent Macao to attend the 11th Guangzhou / Hong Kong / Macao / Chengdu Youth Skills Competition (Pâtisserie and Confectionery), held in Chengdu in October 2020.
