The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) held a “Graduate Alumni Guest Speaker Seminar” at room N101 on October 6th, 2020. The seminar was attended by FHTM Associate Professor PARK SUNG HEE, Assistant Professor ELIZABETH AGYEIWAAH, Assistant Professor XIA MENGLONG, Lecturer KWOK WING CHEONG and nearly 100 FHTM postgraduate students.
U Ngou Sut, Yu Dongxiao, Cheong Im Fan and Huang Xinjia, four FHTM graduate alumni were invited to share their own experiences and opinions about life. They do not only possess rich experience in hotel management, convention and exhibition management, finance and education industry, but also try to explore and build their own life map. They shared their own experiences about campus life and working experience, motivated students to set goals for themselves and be willing to make a big step forward. FHTM teachers and students participated in engaging discussion and the session of Q&A provided students a better understanding of what and how they would need to do in the next step which pave the road for their future career development.
