On the afternoon of December 11, 2020, Mr. Mike Hin, Senior Marketing Manager of Hong Thai Travel was invited to deliver an interactive workshop entitled "Tourism- Where Should we Go?" at the closing lesson of “Travel Agency and Operations” DE1. At the beginning of the workshop, Dean Goh of FHTM presented a souvenir to Mr. Hin to welcome his visit.
The workshop was divided into the following parts: 1. Tourism under the epidemic situation; 2. Preferred travelling pattern of young people now; 3. Put forward valuable suggestions for the potential development in tourism industry 4. Question and Answer (Q & A) session. In the workshop, Mr. Hin not only shared with us his extensive experience in the tourism industry, but also, he made valuable suggestions to our students for their future internship and work. And he patiently answered the questions raised by the students in the final Q&A session.
Through this interaction workshop, students now have a better understanding of the tourism industry and the impact of market changes on the industry.
