November 13, 2022, the Huawei ICT competition 2022-2023 Macau was successfully held at the Macau Science Center. The Huawei ICT competition is an ICT event created by Huawei for global college students. This year is the second time for Macao to hold the regional competition. A total of 643 college students signed up for this competition. After intense competition, 72 students finally entered the finals to compete for multiple awards.
After several rounds of fierce competition, Macau University of Science and Technology won the first prize in the network track and the third prize in the cloud track respectively. Kang Yuwei, Shen Kehua and Chen Rui from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Innovation Engineering won the first prize in the network track; The third prize in the cloud track was won by Xu Yuqi, Guo Yuqi and Xu Zeling. Among them, the team with the first prize in the network track will advance to the Asia-Pacific Regional Competition and compete with top students from the Asia-Pacific region for the highest honor in the Huawei Global ICT Competition.
