During the meeting, M.U.S.T. In the afternoon, Chairman of iFLYTEK, Chairman of the China Speech Industry Alliance, Chairman of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Artificial Intelligence IUR Innovation Alliance, and Director of National Engineering Research Center of Speech and Language Information Processing, Dr. Liu Qing Feng attended the Famous Teacher Seminar "Progress and Typical Applications of General Artificial Intelligence Technology" organized by the Faculty of Innovation Engineering (FIE) of M.U.S.T. at the Lecture Hall. M.U.S.T. President Lee Hun Wei delivered a speech, welcoming and thanking Dr. Liu Qingfeng for giving a keynote speech to M.U.S.T. teachers and students.

At the beginning of the lecture, Dr. Liu introduced the global development boom of general artificial intelligence and described the four waves of artificial intelligence development and three levels of artificial intelligence in chronological order. Dr. Liu pointed out that machines have surpassed humans in many fields while he also demonstrated the achievements and mission of iFLYTEK to the audience. Following that, Dr. Liu talked about the progress of artificial intelligence technology from the aspects of speech recognition, machine translation, machine understanding and reasoning. Dr. Liu's video of a virtual anchor using multiple languages has provided the audience with a personal experience of speech synthesis technology. Through Dr. Liu's vivid narration, the audience also learned about the importance of artificial intelligence in the fields of politics, sports, medical care, and education, etc.
Dr. Liu then turned his focus on the progress and application of cognitive large models, and demonstrated the development status of spark cognitive large model owned by iFLYTEK, as well as the " Flying Star One " platform built in cooperation with Huawei. With the help of simulation videos, Dr. Liu specifically demonstrated the application of large models in intelligent education to teachers and students, making it a more rewarding experience for the audience.
Finally, Dr. Liu proposed that "the future does not belong to AI, but to new human beings who master AI" and "the key to cultivating top innovative talents in the future is imagination, creativity and empathy". He sincerely hoped that students can establish the correct artificial intelligence values, liberate productivity, release imagination, and ignite the spark of general artificial intelligence!
