The Huawei ICT Competition 2023-2024 Macau Award Ceremony was held at 3:30 PM on the December 16th in the conference hall of the Macau Science Center. This event brought together more than 200 participants, including representatives from the government and institutions, representatives from the technology industry, and students and teachers from 19 local schools. They discussed the topics such as talent cultivation and enhancing the competitiveness of local technology talents and commended the winning teams of this competition. The Huawei ICT competition has been held in Macau for three consecutive years, and this competition received an enthusiastic response, attracting nearly 600 students.
After months of online training, preliminary screening, and several rounds of professional judging, a total of 25 teams advanced to the final to compete for awards. Supervised by associate professor Cheang Chak Fong, undergraduate students Chen Siyi, He Xi, and Zou Xiaoman from Macau University of Science and Technology won the third prize in the Cloud Track.
