First aid certificate course is an important basic course for first aid and it is general education for daily life and work. This course introduces the principles and application of first aid, application, appropriate emergency management measures may be developed and to cope with common trauma. Upon successful course completion, students can master the basic theories, basic knowledge and practical skills of first aid and trauma procedures. That will build up a good foundation for the needs of first aid in our daily life.
This worldly recognized course is held by the American Heart Association (AHA). After theoretical study and skill practice, students will learn the latest first-aid basics, principles and operation of CPR, operating procedure of AED as well as the worldly recognized first-aid techniques. Upon successful course completion, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two years.
The course is mainly conducted by video teaching, with designated textbooks and reference books. The teaching materials are prepared by the teachers. In order to strengthen the knowledge of first aid skills amongst the students, they are asked to practice various basic first aid skills with manikins.
This course integrates with two basic first aid courses, which are the Heartsaver First Aid with Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Course and the Basic Life Support Course for Healthcare Providers. Upon successful course completion, students can obtain the first aid CPR course certificate and the Basic Life Support Course certificate for Healthcare Providers.

This course provides medical staff with in-hospital cardiovascular first aid skill, including the recognition of cardiac arrhythmia and Electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring, recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest, the recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions and the use of equipment to maintain effective breathing and blood circulation.
This course aim to enhance the knowledge and clinical skill of medical staff to understand the basic concept of Electrocardiogram (ECG) and recognize common arrhythmias as to provide necessary clinical intervention.
This course provides basic life support courses and advanced cardiovascular support course for Healthcare Providers who are working in the hospitals. Upon successful course completion, students can obtain the basic life support certificate and advanced cardiovascular support certificate respectively.
