The delegation visited Macau Institute for Applied Research in Medicine and Health – Chinese Medicines and Food Safety Laboratory
Mr. Pedro Portugal Gaspar, General Inspector of Portuguese Authority for Food and Economical Safety, Ministry of Economy of the Portuguese government paid a visit to MUST, and exchanged views on food safety inspections and other topics with Chair Prof. Liu Liang, President of MUST, Prof. Jiang Zhi Hong, Associate Vice President of MUST, and Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Administrative Officer of the Rector’s Office.
President Liu Liang first extended warm welcome and gratitude to Mr. Pedro Portugal Gasper, General Inspector of the Portuguese Authority for Food and Economical Safety for his visit, and then went on giving the delegation an introduction of the latest development and research achievements of MUST, the basic profiles of the faculties, the MUST State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the Macau Institute for Applied Research in Medicine and Health – Chinese Medicines and Food Safety Laboratory.
Following President Liu Liang’s introduction, General Inspector Pedro Portugal Gaspar from the Portuguese Authority for Food and Economical Safety gave a brief introduction to the work of the Portuguese Authority for Food and Economical Safety.
After the meeting, General Inspector Pedro Portugal Gaspar from the Portuguese Authority for Food and Economical Safety paid a visit to the Macau Institute for Applied Research in Medicine and Health - Chinese Medicines and Food Safety Laboratory.
Other guests of the delegation include Mr. Domingos Antunes, Inspector Director, Ms. Catarina Mendes Leal, Head of the International Relations Department of Economy and Food Safety Standards Authority, and Ms. Graça Mariano, Head of Department of Laboratories and Food Risks, Portuguese Authority for Food and Economical Safety, Ministry of Economy of the Portuguese Government.
