A delegation led by Mr. Huang Yi-Tsau, Director-General of Department of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare visited MUST on the afternoon of September 1st, 2015. They were warmly received by Prof. Jiang Zhi Hong, Associate Vice President, and Associate Prof. Zhou Hua, Vice Dean of Faculty of Chinese Medicine. 

Prof. Jiang introduced to the visitors the recent development of the university and the characteristics of each faculty, emphasizing the research in science and Chinese Medicines, such as new drug development and modern analytical chemistry in which several international patents had been received. Persisting in the teaching philosophy that education and research are equally important, MUST has made great effort to promote the industrialization and internationalization of the research achievements, nurture more talents for Macau, and boost the development of the city's economy. Being the biggest comprehensive university in Macau, MUST is ranked No. 57 among the top 100 universities in the Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.  

Accompanied by Prof. Jiang and Associate Prof. Zhou, the delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines. Mr. Huang spoke highly of the rapid development the university had achieved since its establishment 15 years ago. He was also impressed by the advanced equipment in the lab and its research achievements.

The visitors also included Ms. Chiou Wen-Fei, Deputy Director of National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine, Ms. Yu Wan-Ju, Division Chief from Department of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Ms. Chen Pin-Chi, Division Chief from Department of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Mr. Don Ming-Jaw, Division Chief from National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine, Ms. Lin Lie-Chwen, Division Chief from National Research Institute of Chinese Medicine, Ms. Lai Shin-Chen from Department of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Mr. Huang Yen-Hao from Department of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Ms. Lin Yu-Chuan, Senior Researcher from Department of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy, Prof. Chang Yuan-Shiun from China Medical University, Taiwan, Prof. Wang Ching-Chiung from Taipei Medical University, and Associate Prof. He Yu-Ling from HungKuang University.
