MUST team wins second prize in Enactus China National Competition 2018

Enactus China National Competition 2018 was held on May 18 in Shanghai. During the past 56 days, after the harsh competitions among 216 enactus teams in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Xian and Chengdu, 91 qualifiers gathered in Shanghai International Merchandising Center. Enactus of Macau University of Science and Technology (Enactus MUST) was winner of Enactus Hong Kong Regional Competition 2018, and won the first round of the national competition, and finally won the second prize. Furthermore, Professor Sun Jianrong, MUST Associate Vice President, was awarded the Best Faculty Advisor.

Founded in 2014, Enactus MUST became the first Enactus team in Macau and a member of Enactus China - Guangdong and Macau Region. Now, there are three faculty advisors and three business consultants in the team. Guided by Professor Sun Jianrong, Associate Professor Zou Wenchi and Assistant Professor Honghao Zhao, the team has been awarded the Best New Team, the Best Multi-Cultural Team Awards for twice, the Best Entrepreneurial Spirits Team Award and the first prize in Hong Kong Regional Competition from 2014 to present.

Enactus aims to encourage students, academics and business leaders committed to use the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and to shape a better and more sustainable world. Enactus MUST brought a project named Rebirth as its entry this year, striving to help local drug abstainers reintegrate into society through assisting them to create self-image and look for jobs.
