M.U.S.T. Engineering Ranked World’s Top 1% at ESI

The latest release of “Essential Science Indicators (ESI) on May 9, 2019, by Clarivate Analytics (former Thomson Reuters) reveals that the Engineering field of M.U.S.T. has for the first time joined the rank of the top 1% among universities and research institutes across the world in the relevant area. The University’s 362 papers drawn by the ESI accumulatively, which has yielded 2,717 times of citation in total and 7.51 times per paper on average; 25 papers were marked as “Highly Cited Papers”. The coverage of the relevant statistics ranges from January 1, 2009 to February 28, 2019.

Among these papers referenced by ESI, the relatively more highly cited papers are from Prof. Li Zhi Wu, Prof. Wu Nai Qi, Prof. Zhou Meng Chu, Prof. Chen Hsing Hung, Assistant Prof. Qiao Yan, Associate Prof. Li Dong, Associate Prof. Zeng Xiang Cai, Assistant Prof. Song Qing Bin, and Associate Prof. Bai Li Ping. These productive authors are mainly from Macau Institute of System Engineering, School of Business, Faculty of Information Technology and Macau Environmental Research Institute at M.U.S.T.
