FHTM Signs MOU with Shenzhen Tourism College, Jinan University for Collaboration in the Greater Bay Area

The delegation headed by Executive Dean, Professor Li Guang Ming of the Shenzhen Tourism College, Jinan University visited Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM), Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) on the afternoon of May 15, 2019. They were warmly received by Prof. Ben Goh, Dean of FHTM, Vice Dean Ms. Amy Chu, and Program Directors Brenda Yang, Feng Yan and Zhang Yang. The two parties signed MOU to promote cooperation between the two universities in education and research of tourism and relevant fields. The signing of the MOU has established a closer relationship between FHTM and other higher education institutions in the Greater Bay Area, and has laid a solid foundation for further and deeper cooperation in teaching and research in the field of tourism education and development.

At the reception, Dean Ben Goh and Vice Dean Ms. Amy Chu introduced the development of FHTM along with the 19-year history of M.U.S.T., pointing out that FHTM as one of the largest faculties of the university, has in recent years made great efforts in cooperation with many academic institutions both abroad and in mainland China so as to promote excellence in teaching and research from a global perspective. Executive Dean Li Guang Ming shared the development of Shenzhen Tourism College and expressed that he was impressed by the fast development and abundant research outcome of FHTM. The two faculties wish that by virtue of signing the MOU, the two parties are able to launch joint initiatives in research and teaching, teacher and student exchanges and other collaboration programs in the context of the Greater Bay Area Construction.
