“Destination Development and Marketing - Post Covid-19” Held at M.U.S.T. Nearly 100 people involved

The First workshop of FHTM Summer Research Seminar Series entitled “Destination Development and Marketing - Post Covid-19” was held on June 19th, 2020 at M.U.S.T. Including F.H.T.M. Dean Prof. Ben K Goh and program director Zhang Yang, nearly 100 FHTM teachers and postgraduate students attended this on-line seminar. This workshop was sponsored by Macao Foundation.

Dr. Young Hoon Kim is a Professor in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management and Director of Global Research and Innovation (GRI) Lab at the University of North Texas. His primary research focus is community engagement for destinations. He has published approximately 200 articles, books, book chapters, and conference proceedings. In the seminar, Professor Young Hoon Kim summarized and interpreted the current tourism and hospitality industry development under the special circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic and delivered the recent industry information through video interaction.

This research seminar inspired both students and staff by broadening their academic scope and obtaining in-depth understanding of tourism recovery after Covid-19 pandemic.
