Prof. Miao Li gave a lecture online
On October 14, 2020, Prof. Miao Li of Oklahoma State University of the United States was invited to give a lecture entitled “The Craft of Literature Review” for Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (F.H.T.M.) faculties and graduate students. This seminar was sponsored by the Macau Foundation.
In this seminar, Prof. Miao interpreted that writing literature review is similar to the baking and developing process of a recipe. She summarized some practical tips for literature review writing including determining the logic flow, synthesizing, reconstructing and building conceptual developments, using Endnotes to organize reference library.
The atmosphere of the lecture was lively and pleasant. In the final Q&A session, students raised questions and Prof. Miao answered in detail and with patience. Prof. Miao’s lecture inspired the students and staff and broaden their academic scope and horizon, with an in-depth understanding of literature review writing skill.
