THE World University Rankings by Subject
M.U.S.T Scores Higher in Computer Science and
Enters the Rankings in Business & Economics and Clinical, Pre-clinical & Health

The United Kingdom’s Times Higher Education recently announced THE World University Rankings by Subject 2021. This year, altogether 1512 institutions were ranked, among which Macau University of Science and Technology climbed one zone up over last year in computer science to 101-125. The University also newly entered the rankings in other two subjects, business & economics and clinical, pre-clinical & health, respectively among 251-300 and 301-400.

THE World University Rankings by Subject adopts the same methodology for data collection of The Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and it measures the performances of the ranked institutions in 11 broad fields and subjects, albeit with recalibrated weights to the measured indicators so as to suit the individual fields. The 11 disciplines measured include arts & humanities, business & economics, clinical, pre-clinical & health, computer science, education, engineering & technology, law, life sciences, physical sciences, psychology and social sciences.
