The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (F.H.T.M.) held an academic seminar on November 10th, 2020. Prof. Dai Guangquan, South China University of Technology was invited to give a lecture, and the seminar was attended by F.H.T.M. Dean Prof. Ben K Goh, Program Director Zhang Yang, Assistant professor Chen Yujie, Assistant professor Chau Shuk Mun, Assistant professor Hsu Fu Chieh and postgraduate students. The seminar was sponsored by the Macau Foundation.

F.H.T.M. Teachers and Students Interacted with Guest Speaker

Professor Dai Guangquan is a professor in the Department of Tourism Management, Institute of Tourism Development and Planning, South China University of Technology. Professor Dai's main research areas are festival tourism, tourism and socio-cultural geography, tourism planning and development, and research on exhibition economy and management.

Guest Speaker, FHTM Teachers and Students’ Group Photo

In this workshop, Professor Dai Guangquan illustrated the theory of Impact Index of Mega Event. He used the case of The World Horticulture Expo in Kunming to analyze and propose the strategies. In this seminar, F.H.T.M. teachers and students participated in engaging discussion and some students asked Professor Dai about the research method of Mega Event. Professor Dai patiently explained and resolved students’ perplexities. The seminar ended successfully.
