The National College Competition of Red Tourism Creative Planning was first launched in 2011 and has been held for ten consecutive years, which is currently the largest professional red tourism competition in China focused on college students. The 10th Competition started in September 2020 and received a total of 1,445 entries from 298 universities nationwide. After the preliminary grading, 30 teams were selected to participate in the finals, where the judges were all professionals from tourism institutions such as the National Tourism Administration, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China, and the China Tourism Association, etc.
Our students have conscientiously prepared for the competition for nearly two months, including efforts of data collection, brainstorming, discussions with the instructor, repeated polishing and so on, leading to the unique marketing program presented and fluent response in the Q&A section that successfully left a deep impression on the final judges. The National Prize they won is an admirable indication of their professional knowledge, team spirit and creative thinking.
Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management together with M.U.S.T. will continue to encourage students to actively participate in various competitions and activities, contributing to cultivating outstanding talents with a combination of theory and practice, and winning glory for the college and Macao.
