School of Business Graduation Ceremony
The 2022 Graduation Ceremony of the School of Business of the Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) was successfully held in the afternoon of June 6 at the Auditorium of the University's Building R. The ceremony was officiated by Professor Lin Zhi Jun, Vice President of M.U.S.T., and Professor So Yuk Chow, Vice President of M.U.S.T. and Dean of the School of Business. The ceremony was attended by Prof. Sheng Ni, Executive Vice Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Chan Tung Sun, Vice Dean of the School of Business, Associate Prof. Zhang Jing Hua, Assistant Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Liu Cheng Kun, Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Associate Prof. Zhang Zhuo, Associate Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance, Prof. Tian Qing, Head of the Department of Management, and Prof. Tang Hua Jun, Head of the Department of Decision Sciences, as well as other teachers, staff members, parents, and friends. This year, the total number of students at the School of Business is about 1740 (720 undergraduates and 1020 graduate students), and due to the epidemic this ceremony strictly complied with the epidemic prevention guidelines and requirements of the Health Bureau and other relevant departments and, under the premise of ensuring a safe environment, 318 graduates attended the graduation ceremony on-site and took pictures with the officiating guests, turning a new page in their lives under the witness and blessing of their teachers and friends.
Speech by Vice President So Yuk Chow
Professor So Yuk Chow, Vice President of Macau University of Science and Technology, gave his best wishes to the graduates and shared with them the story of Sandy Greenberg and Art Garfunkel's friendship, hoping that the graduates would treasure the friendship of their classmates. At the same time, he reminded the graduates to own their responsibilities to the society, give back to the community, and actively participate in volunteer and charity activities. He also encouraged the students to pay attention to the improvement of their artistic talents while climbing the peak of scientific research, and to have a hobby in art, music, and poetry.
Speech by Associate Professor NIE, TING
Associate Professor Nie Ting, a representative of the School of Business, sent her best wishes to the graduates, encouraging them to change their roles in society as soon as possible, to meet the new challenges that will come, to actively plan their careers, to choose their paths carefully, to cherish their lives, to maintain their physical and mental health, and to achieve a brilliant future.
Speech by Graduate Representative Ms. Hu Jia Yue
In her speech, Ms. Hu Jia Yue, a representative of the School of Business graduates, thanked the Business School for its curriculum and teaching faculty, and for helping students to solidity their learning foundations while giving them the opportunity to develop freely and improve their abilities on the international platform that is the Business School of M.U.S.T. She wished a bright future to all the graduates.
At the end of the ceremony, all participants sang the University Anthem that brought a perfect ending to the graduation ceremony.
