The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) was held in the afternoon of June 7, 2023, in the Auditorium of the Teaching Building Block R. This year, under the witness of more than 450 advisory board members, teachers, relatives, and friends, 250 FHTM graduates attended the graduation ceremony.

Chair Professor Zhu Yizhun, Associate Vice-President of M.U.S.T., and Professor Ben. K Goh, Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management, attended the ceremony and presented the graduation certificates to graduates of the Master of International Tourism Management, Master of Hotel Management, Bachelor of International Tourism Management, Bachelor of Hotel Management, and Bachelor of Food and Beverage Management. Honor Cord Ceremony by Dean Ben K. Goh
Dean Ben. K. Goh welcomed the guests and congratulated the graduates on their accomplishments, inviting them to stand and applaud the family and friends who have supported them these last four years. He encouraged students to keep learning, step outside their comfort zone, and be kind and welcomed the graduates to join the Alumni Association.

As representatives of outstanding graduates, Liu Sifan, a graduate of Master of International Tourism Management, and Wu Ziyue, a graduate of Bachelor of International Tourism Management, delivered speeches on behalf of all the graduates. They expressed their gratitude to M.U.S.T. as they have been taught to be persistent and responsible people. At M.U.S.T., they felt freedom, equality, tolerance, openness, and the pursuit of truth. They have learned how to pursue universality in diversity and respect diversity in universality. They noted that it’s not the dream that they should chase, but the experiences on the journey to fulfilling their dreams. They are grateful to their alma mater for providing them with opportunities and for encouraging and supporting them to make the impossible possible.
