Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) will hold Congregation 2014 in Gym Building J of MUST at 2:30 p.m., June 7th, Saturday. Mr. Cheong U, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, will representative of Chief Executive of Macao Special Administrative Region to preside the ceremony.
It is expected that over 1100 graduates will attend the ceremony. Also invited to the ceremony are leading officials from Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC and government departments of Macao SAR, representatives from the education sector, scholarship sponsors as well as people from all circles of the community. Dr. Liu Chak Wan, Chancellor of MUST and Mr. Chui Sai Cheong, Chairman of Board of Trustees of MUST Foundation will confer doctorate degrees and President, Chair Professor Liu Liang will present Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees to fresh graduates respectively.
The students who have replied to attend the congregation please be reminded to register at the Student Registration desk on the ground floor of Stadium Building Block I between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. that day. The doctorate and master’s candidates are scheduled to participate in the rehearsal in Gym Building J at 1 p.m., while the undergraduates and students’ relatives who hold the tickets are to take their seats in Gym Building J between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Other graduates’ parents and relatives are welcomed to enjoy the live broadcast in any of the following places: Auditorium D, Room 101 in Building N and lobby of Building A.
