MUST Faculty Member Won Abraham Pizam Recognition Award

Ali Bavik, lecturer and a Ph.D candidate of Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management from Macau University of Science and Technology, joined 7th World Conference for Graduate Research in Tourism, Hospitality and Leisure, held in Kadir Has University, Istanbul, Turkey, from 3rd to 8th, June, 2014. Ali presented his paper titled “Development of a New Organizational Culture Measurement Scale in the Hospitality Industry: A New Zealand Case Study”, which focused on cultural differences, values, body language, gestures, semantic differences, perception, and how they influence the relationship among employees vertically and horizontally. It also covered how these variables influence customer relationships. For this paper, Ali was given Abraham Pizam Recognition Award, which recognizes those contributing in an exceptional way on a special research, topic or activity.
