China Future Internet Engineering Center (CFIEC) was recognized by the Beijing Development and Reform Commission in 2012 and was upgraded to the National Joint Engineering Research Center by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2015. The Center focuses on DNS root server and IPv6 Internet applications, builds the "Internet Basic Technology Public Service Platform", participates in the standardization of global network technology, carries out research and operation of IPv6 server as well as certification. Liu Dong is the director of the China Future Internet Engineering Center.
