Introduction on “Guan Xin Kang Tai Capsules”
“Guan Xin Kang Tai Capsules” is a novel drug candidate for coronary heart disease, jointly developed by the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (Macau University of Science and Technology) and Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The capsules derived from an efficient Chinese herbal formula for treatment of coronary heart disease, together with the advance and vigorous technologies for bioactive components extraction and formulation. All the original materials, precursors and final products of the drug were in line with the quality control standards, and passed both safety and activity tests. The project was supported by the National Science and Technology Major Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and developed it as novel Chinese medicine type 6. The pharmacological research has been completed, while the drug is undergoing further efficiency and safety studiess.
