Mr. Ye Yi Xin graduated from the Central University of Finance and Economics; since then, his experiences have been closely associated with two key words, “bank” and “Macau”; he has worked in the People’s Bank of China, the Bank of China, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, the Macau branch of Xinhua News Agency, and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region; he has worked as the Director-general of China Liaison Office Economic Affairs Department, and was a member of the Preparatory Committee for the Macao Special Administrative Region. He is now the General Manager of the Bank of China Macau Branch, chairman of the Macau Association of Banks, and member of the Board of Supervisors of Macau Chamber of Commerce.

Under the leadership of Mr. Ye Yi Xin, Bank of China (Macau) has not only successfully fulfilled its joint responsibilities of being the note-issuing bank of MOP, the bank in charge of Macau government’s public treasury services and the bank for international settlements in Macau, but also has tapped new markets, marrying the quality accumulated from being a vintage brand for over a century with the innovations of the Internet era; the bank has held tightly to its mission of “Rooted in Macau & Steadfast in Serving” and has become the bank that maintains the closest relationship with the general public and the social community, offering the most diverse and most considerate services, and has the most innovative notions in Macau; thus it has made outstanding contributions to the prosperity of the Macao SAR..

In 2010, the government of the Macao Special Administrative Region awarded the Bank of China Macau Branch, led by Mr. Ye, the “Medal of Industry and Commercial Merit”. In 2011, Mr. Ye received an award by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China for his outstanding contributions to the development of China’s society and science.

Since 2011, Mr. Ye Yi Xin has been a board member of Macau University of Science and Technology; he has given wisdom and proposals for the development of the university and fulfilled his responsibilities wholeheartedly; accordingly, the impressive achievements made by M.U.S.T. also embrace Mr. Ye’s endeavors and passion.
