On April 20, 2018, there were 60 FHTM Food and Beverage Management students attended the “Gastronomic Treasure of Macau” Premiere Ceremony and seminar held in Wynn Palace. As UNESCO has designated Macau with “Creative City of Gastronomy” in November, 2017, this designation will not only bring new opportunities to the development of the Macau food and beverage industry but also to the entire tourism industry. To promote and market the local gourmet food culture, Wynn Palace has sponsored the making of a documentary called “Gastronomic Treasure of Macau” which recorded the local cuisine and dining culture of Macau, will start airing on Jun 1, 2018. FHTM students showed their enthusiasm and passion to the topic of the day and raised questions at the end of the ceremony. FHTM really appreciates that Wynn Palace had offered such opportunity to our students who had really benefited greatly from this activity.
