The first lecture of the “Lecture Series by F & B Masters” hosted by FHTM was held on March 15, 2019. Mr. James Law, the Area Coach of Pizza Hut Hong Kong Management Limited, Jardine Restaurant Group, was invited to give a talk entitled How to Create New News to the Market: From a Most Loved F&B Brand?” for our food and beverage management majors.
Mr. James Law first talked about the background of Pizza Hut. Then he talked about the business model of the brand and he elaborated how important the advertisement is to a food and beverage brand. He also mentioned the importance of the role of “electronic advertising” working in a brand. Our students were very interested in this topic and also curious about the operation Pizza Hut does in marketing. They raised many questions and had a very intensive discussion with Mr. Law. At the end, Mr. James Law also offered his suggestions to our students on their career development. This lecture was sponsored by Macao Foundation.
