The Faculty Freshman Orientation was held with complete success on September 2nd at N101. The Dean, Professor Zeng Huaqun, the Vice-Dean, Professor Fang Quan and all other faculty professors and staffs attended and welcomed new students in Year 2016.
The Dean of the Faculty in Law, Professor Zeng Huaqun encouraged our newcomers to explore both the academic and co-curricular opportunities available at MUST, and develop their personal skills and performance. Whereafter, Assistant Professor Lin Weizhong shared his learning and teaching experience with students and encouraged them to widen the range of their interests, get to know themselves and develop positive attitude to life. And Assistant Professor Xie Gengliang linked new students to many resources that might assist them in preparation for their first year, such as the Law Essay Competition, Law Debate Competition and Academics Lecture Series etc.
Zhao Zhanhong extended his expectation on campus life on behalf of new students. Guo Chengcheng shared his campus experience from a view of senior students. And the President of Faculty Student Union Sheng Luoxiong encouraged newcomers to join in the union and improve well-rounded set of skills and abilities needed in future career.
At last, all the new students took photo with our professors to memorize their wonderful beginning at MUST.
