In the afternoon of 31 March 2021, an academic seminar to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the promulgation of the Basic Law of the Macao Special Administrative Region was held in the Auditorium of the Macao Science Center, co-organized by the Association for the Promotion of the Basic Law of Macao, the Legal Affairs Bureau, the Municipal Services Department and the Education and Youth Development Bureau, with the participation of the Faculty of Law. As a co-organizer, the Faculty of Law set up a branch venue in Room O304, Block O. More than 50 students and faculty members participated in the event online.

Zhang Rongshun, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR, Liu Xianfa, Commissioner of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Macao SAR, Cheong Weng Chon, Secretary for Administration and Law of the Macao SAR Government, Chui Sai Cheong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Promotion of the Basic Law of Macao and Deputy Director of the Committee for the Basic Law of Macao of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Lei Pui Lam, Deputy Director of the Association for the Promotion of the Basic Law of Macao, Qiao Xiaoyang, former Director of the Legal Committee of the NPC and former Director of the Committee for the Basic Law of Hong Kong and Macau of the NPC Standing Committee, were the officiating guests. Experts and scholars from the Mainland and Macao gathered to discuss the theory and successful implementation of "One Country, Two Systems" in the Macao Special Administrative Region.

On behalf of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Zhou Ting delivered a speech entitled "On the Constitutional Standard of the "Patriot" Principle" at the seminar. During the interactive session, students from the Faculty of Law branch actively asked questions to the speakers in the main session.
