In order to promote the implementation of the student-centered OBA (Outcomes-based Approach) teaching method, to enhance the teaching standard and coordination of each subject and to encourage the interaction among the teachers; The Faculty of Law held an online undergraduate teaching experience sharing seminar in this summer. Based on the six fields of Introduction to Law, Public Law and Procedural Law, Commercial Economic Law, International and Interdisciplinary Law, Civil and Social Law, Case Study and Moot Court teaching, the teachers shared their experience on 3, 10 and 17 August respectively.
During the seminar, the teachers shared their selection of textbooks, reading materials, assessment system, assignment arrangement, etc. Moreover, the teachers also demonstrated high quality lecture, case study and the Moot Court teaching experience to the students which could enhance students’ learning effectively.
In the compilation of textbooks and reading materials, we centered on selecting the appropriate papers to expand the content and supplementing the insufficient of the textbooks. So as to let the students get a better achievement in their study, we allotted the teaching content of the subjects for different grades according to the compulsory subjects, elective subjects and the preceding education of students.
During the Case Study lecture, the teachers shared the Common Law case teaching approach and German recognition case teaching method, they also discussed the application in case study and moot court teaching.
This seminar has advanced the communication among the teachers, which also built a better foundation for the undergraduate teaching quality.
