On March 28th, Professor Li Yiping, Director of the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Affairs Office, and Professor Yuan Saiyu from the College of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering of Hohai University visited the Faculty of Law at Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.).
Dean Guo Xianglin and Associate Dean Chen Guanghua from the Faculty of Law of Hohai University, along with Ms. Li Dan from the International Office, attended the meeting online. Dean Fang Quan, Professor Cao Xia, and Program Director Mou Xiaobo from the Faculty of Law at M.U.S.T. were present to receive the guests.

Dean Fang Quan extended a warm welcome to the visit from Hohai University and provided an overview of the Faculty of Law at Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.), including its faculty and student scale, teaching characteristics, national-level research platforms, affiliated institutions, and external cooperation and exchange. Director Li Yiping introduced the basic information about Hohai University, highlighting its status as the first higher education institution in China to cultivate talent in water conservancy, and its distinctive disciplinary system. Associate Dean Chen Guanghua presented an online introduction to the Faculty of Law at Hohai University, emphasizing its focus on cultivating interdisciplinary talents and its notable achievements in fields such as water law, environmental resource protection law, and international river law. After the meeting, Director Li and Professor Yuan visited the Faculty of Law's mock courtroom.
This discussion established a friendly relationship between the Faculty of Law at M.U.S.T. and the Faculty of Law at Hohai University, with both parties expressing their desire to collaborate on research in the field of ecological environmental law. They also aim to strengthen faculty visits, student exchanges, and leverage their respective professional advantages and shared resources for collaborative development.
