On the morning of April 21, 2023, a legal lecture titled "Reflections on the Practice of Criminal Compliance" was successfully held at Room N214 of the University Library, organized by the Faculty of Law at the M.U.S.T. Professor Jiang Su from Peking University Law School was invited to give the lecture. Assistant Professor Xue Wenchao from the Faculty of Law served as the moderator for the lecture, which was attended by nearly 150 law students.

At the beginning of the lecture, Assistant Professor Xue Wenchao and student representatives from the Faculty of Law presented a commemorative gift to Professor Jiang Su as a gesture of gratitude.
During the lecture, Professor Jiang Su provided an explanation of the current state of criminal compliance practices in China. He introduced the topic by citing three typical compliance cases from around the world in recent years, and delved into the subject of criminal compliance from the perspectives of pre-compliance and post-compliance. On one hand, he emphasized the background changes in the development and reform of criminal compliance in China. On the other hand, he raised questions regarding the legitimacy of non-prosecution in compliance, the legitimacy of the purpose of non-prosecution in compliance, and the risk transformation in non-prosecution in compliance, pointing out the shortcomings and issues in criminal compliance. In the final stage of the lecture, Professor Jiang summarized and reflected on the practice of criminal compliance, and provided new prospects for the future of domestic criminal compliance, focusing on three aspects: building a comprehensive compliance process, legislative amendments, and shaping a compliance culture.
Finally, Assistant Professor Xue Wenchao supplemented and summarized the above content, affirming the depth and richness of Professor Jiang's lecture, and expressing sincere gratitude on behalf of the faculty and students for Professor Jiang's invitation to deliver the lecture at the M.U.S.T.'s Faculty of Law. During the question and answer session, students raised various questions related to the content, and Professor Jiang answered them one by one. The entire lecture was informative, enriching, and had a strong academic atmosphere.
